Ingredients

  • 2 cups blueberries for the blue star
  • 1 cup raspberries for the red stripes
  • 2 cups strawberries for the red stripes
  • 2 cups yogurt-covered pretzels sliced bananas or apples, for the white stripes
  • ½ cup plain yogurt or kefir
  • 1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup to taste
  • teaspoon cinnamon divided
  • Mint leaves for garnish optional
  • lemon juice to coat apple or banana slices, optional

Instructions

  • Place the honey or agave syrup into a small bowl.
  • Slowly add the yogurt or kefir, only adding more once the honey or agave is mixed in. The colder the yogurt or kefir, the more you will need to stir to mix the honey.
  • Add just over half the cinnamon to the honey-yogurt mixture. Stir.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon on top. Garnish with a small sprig of mint.

Notes

Recommended non-dairy yogurts: CoYo (coconut) and Kite Hill (almond)
To keep bananas or apples from browning, sprinkle lemon juice over the cut pieces and stir gently arranging them on the tray.
