The pesto and sauce are "cheesy" from nutritional yeast and creamy from coconut milk. The chickpea pasta is not paleo! but the meatballs and sauce are. ⁠

The main differences are in the molasses flavor and color that coconut sugar gives the drink - but the flavor is great in both! ⁠

Simple but delicious and creamy fruit-layered haup Simple but delicious and creamy fruit-layered haupia pudding will make you feel the balmy Hawaiian breezes. Top with your favorite fruit, or whatever is good and fresh (my grandson loved this combo). It's fun to find a layer of smashed raspberries at the bottom, too. ⁠

What's haupia, you say? Coconut milk, a thickener (tapioca or arrowroot or corn starch), a sweetener (coconut sugar for Paleo) and a bunch of stirring while it all simmers. ⁠
